Enabling or disabling the firewall

To enable or disable the Windows XP built in Firewall:

  1. Click the Start menu and select Connect to and click Show all connections.
  2. In the window that appears, right click on Madasafish connection and select Properties. You will find the firewall options located in this area. You can enable or disable the firewall by placing a tick in the appropriate box. After you have the firewall section as you wish for it to be, click OK to save your changes.
