Logging on to Windows Vista
Enter your password and click on the arrow to login to Windows Vista. If you need to change users simply click on the Switch User button.
Click on the Start menu to access Programs and Folders.
Clicking the arrow next to the padlock will bring up various options for you to choose from (Switch user, Log off, Lock, Restart, Sleep, Hibernate and Shut Down). The Control Panel is also available in the Start menu for further configuration.
To Shut down choose the option from the Start menu and wait for Windows to end its session.
